GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team came up short on Sunday as Colorado School of Mines took the 4-0 victory at Katy O. Rady Field.

Prior to the match Western Colorado celebrated their six seniors will are playing in their last season. These six consist of
Grace Walker,
Abbie Riley,
Casey Elnicki,
Casey Ober,
Jessie Jacobsen, and
Kaeyla Noble.
The Mountaineers (4-9-1 overall, 1-7-1 RMAC) gave up an early Oredigger (11-2-3, 8-1-1) goal two and a half minutes into the contest before allowing another one 12 minutes later to make it 2-0.

From there Western Colorado held strong until the 59th minute when Laura Butler scored to make it 3-0 Orediggers. Colorado School of Mines added a final goal in the 69th minute to make the final 4-0.

Western Colorado took three shots placing one on goal as the Orediggers took 27 shots with 15 on target.

Caileen Sienknecht had a two shots in the match, placing one on goal. As Mountaineer
Laura Pelino took Western's other shot.

Kaeyla Noble had five saves for Western Colorado and
Grace Walker had seven saves.

The Mountaineers return to action 3:30 p.m. Friday as they travel to play MSU Denver at The Assembly Athletic Complex.
