GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team dropped its eighth game of the season after falling to Regis University 1-0 on Friday at Katy O. Rady Field.

It was a scoreless first half until there was less than two minutes until halftime when the Rangers' Madison Cullinan scored a header goal off an assist from Sarah Wynn to break the tie.

The Mountaineers came out of the half looking like a different team, as they made a few adjustments to try to counter the Rangers 1-0 lead. Despite putting up seven shots, they were unable to tie it up and took their third straight loss.

Western Colorado put up seven shots and had one on target as the Rangers took 16 shots with five on target.

Caileen Sienknecht and
Sarah Johnson each led the Mountaineers with two shots while
Abby Raio,
Natasha Kasozi and
Bridget Feely all had one shot apiece.
Kaeyla Noble was again strong in goal for Western Colorado with four saves.

The Mountaineers will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 24 as they host Colorado School of Mines for senior day. Western Colorado will recognize
Grace Walker,
Abbie Riley,
Casey Elnicki,
Casey Ober,
Jessie Jacobsen, and
Kaeyla Noble for Senior Day.
