GUNNISON, Colo. --- The 2020 Mountaineer 5k went virtual! Western Colorado hosted the 5k event over the course of a week allowing participants to run from anywhere in the world on their own schedule.
 
The 2020 addition had 21 participants take place in the virtual event with 12 of them posting their times.
 
Positing the fastest time, Juan Madrid clocked a 5k of 22:35 to be crowned the 2020 Mountaineer Virtual 5k Champion. His time puts him 16 seconds ahead of the 2019 winner.
 
Winning the women's virtual 5k was Grace Delany who logged a blazing time of 26:52. Delany finished second overall.
