GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team fell to No. 2 UC Colorado Springs 5-0 on Friday at Walker Field in Grand Junction.

The Mountaineers (0-7 overall, 0-3 RMAC) played a scoreless first 15 minutes with the Mountain Lions (7-0, 3-0) before UCCS scored three goals in the final 30 minutes of the half to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

Like the first half, WCU came out strong in the second half and didn't allow a goal for the first 18 minutes before goals by UCCS in the 64th and 83rd minute made the final 5-0.

Missa Webb accounted for the Mountaineers' two shots in the game.
Kaeyla Noble withstood 30 UCCS shots and made 11 saves for WCU.

The Mountaineers return to action 11 a.m. Sunday as they take on MSU Denver at Walker Field in Grand Junction.
