GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team continues RMAC play this week as the Mountaineers take on No. 2 UC Colorado Springs 4 p.m. Friday and MSU Denver 11 a.m. Sunday at Walker Field in Grand Junction, Colorado. The games have been moved to Grand Junctions due to continued construction delays at WCU's new soccer facility - Crimson Field.
 
THE MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The Mountaineers opened RMAC play last week on the road as they fell to No. 9 Colorado School of Mines on Friday (11-0) and to Colorado Christian on Sunday 4-0. Andrea Grillo (seven) and Missa Webb (six) continue to lead the Mountaineers in shots with Webb leading WCU in goals.

Last season the Mountaineers fell to UCCS 2-0 and lost to then-ranked No. 11 MSU Denver 3-0.

UCCS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The Mountain Lions enter this weekend as the No. 2 team in the country after winning their first six contests of 2019 - including a 3-0 win over then-No. 10 West Texas A&M and a pair of wins to open RMAC play last week over CSU-Pueblo (2-1) and New Mexico Highlands (6-1).

Eleven different players have scored a goal for UCCS this season - led by Kaitlin Hinkle and Shanade Hopcroft (last week's RMAC Offensive Player of the Week), who each have three. Hinkle also leads the team with two assists while Hopcroft leads UCCS with 26 shots - 15 more than the next player. At keeper, Mollee Swift has started four games (played in five) and has a 0.50 goals against average with a save percentage of 0.867 while Alexis Walker has started two games (played in three) and owns a 0.49 GAA and a 0.857 save percentage.
 
MSU DENVER HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The Roadrunners are 2-5, but have lost four one-goal contests this season, including a 2-1 loss at CSU-Pueblo on Sunday (MSU Denver beat NMHU 8-0 on Friday to open RMAC play). Sunday was the first time the Roadrunners lost a game when it scored in the contest.

Jessica Mooney and Gabriella Gamboa lead MSU Denver with two goals apiece while Riley Ostler has a team-best two assists. Hailey Mazzola has the most shots taken on the team with 18 while Monoey and Paloma Teran have 10 apiece. At keeper, Erica Torres has seen all but 25 minutes of action this season for MsU Denver and owns a 1.03 GAA and a 0.794 save percentage.
