Gunnison, Colo. – Western Colorado University men's basketball take to the road to face the Trailblazers and the Griffins. The Mountaineers look to break their losing streak this weekend on the road, as they face Dixie State University ranked sixth in the RMAC on Friday and twelfth ranked Westminster College on Saturday.

Western (3-18, 0-15 RMAC) tips off against DSU (11-8, 9-6 RMAC) Friday at 7:30 p.m. and WC (8-11, 6-9 RMAC) Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

The Mountaineer men enter the weekend 16
th in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings.

Western men rank second in the conference in made three-pointers. As a team, the mountaineers have made 225 threes this season which averages 10.7 threes per game.

Despite Western's losing record, the Mountaineers are still averaging 78.4 points a game which ranks them seventh in the RMAC and have forced two of their last three games into overtime.

Cole Sienknecht (44 percent) and
Brady Subart (43 percent) lead the RMAC in three-point field goal percentage.

DSU is coming into the weekend with a six game winning streak, after defeating Adams State last Saturday (71-70).

Dixie State's Matt Conway ranks third in the RMAC for field goal percentage.

WC is coming into the weekend with a win last Saturday against Fort Lewis College. On Friday night they will play number five ranked Colorado Mesa University before playing the Mountaineers on Saturday night.
