Mountaineers fall on the road to Regis

DENVER --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team lost to Regis 7-0 on Sunday at Regis Match Pitch.

The Mountaineers (0-9-1 Overall, 0-5-1 RMAC) allowed three goals in the first half to the Rangers (6-2-2, 4-1-1) before Regis added four more in the final 45 minutes.

Missa Webb led WCU with two shots with one on goal while Megan Wheelock had a shot on goal as well for the Mountaineers.

WCU returns to action next Sunday as the Mountaineers travel to take on Colorado Mesa at 1:30 p.m.
