OREM, Utah --- The Western Colorado women's basketball team dropped their exhibition opener to Division-I Utah Valley 68-37 on Saturday afternoon at the UCCU Center.

Hannah Cooper led the Mountaineers with 13 points (going 5-for-7 from the free throw line) to go along with three rebounds and two steals while Katie Dalton had eight points, five rebounds and a block.

The Mountaineers continue exhibition play Wednesday at Weber State in Ogden, Utah.
