GUNNISON, Colo. – Western State Colorado University volleyball have two home matches this week. The Mountaineers host Colorado Mesa University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before Thursday's match against Westminster College at 7 p.m.

Western (2-19, 1-11 RMAC) enters the week after splitting the weekend's matches. The Mountaineers defeated South Dakota School of Mines & Technology 3-1 before falling to Black Hills State University in five sets.

The Mountaineers are currently second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for service aces with 116 this season. Leading the serving attack is senior
Logan Franek, the RMAC's leader in aces with 36.

Jordan Eatwell is just three kills away from getting to 1,000 in her career and currently leads the team in kills with 183.

CMU (14-6, 8-4 RMAC) enters the week fifth in the conference standings. The Mavericks have won their last two matches after falling in the previous two.

The Mavericks are holding opponents to a conference low 10.55 kills per set.

Leading the CMU offense is Mackenzie Edwards, averaging the second most kills per set in the RMAC at 4.03.

Westminster (6-15, 3-10 RMAC) enters the week 12
th in the conference. The Griffins broke a seven match losing streak last weekend, defeating Fort Lewis College in five sets.
