GOLDEN, Colo. – Western State Colorado University men's basketball guard
Brady Subart came off the bench Saturday evening to lead the team with 20 points in a loss to Colorado School of Mines. The Orediggers put up 103 points and held Western to 64 points in the game.

Subart's 20 points came off of eight made shots, four of which came from deep. He was eight of 15 from the field, making 40 percent of his deep shots.

Also for Western,
Collin Smith had nine points, while
Ben Beauchamp and
Will Duggan each chipped in eight. Duggan had six assists to lead the team, while Beauchamp had five boards.

For the Orediggers, Gokul Natesan and Luke Schroepfer each put up 21 against the Mountaineers. Schroepfer was four-of-nine from beyond the arc, while Natesan led the team with six assists.

The Mountaineers return home next weekend for a rematch against UCCS Friday evening and to play MSU-Denver Saturday. Western is three of seven at home in wins.
