COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western State Colorado University men's basketball team fell to the Air Force Academy Tuesday evening in Colorado Springs, 86-66. The Mountaineers return to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference competition Saturday in Chadron, Nebraska.

Three Mountaineers scored in the double-digits, led by point guard
Pablo Barreiro. Barreiro put up a dozen points, sinking three from deep. He also had five boards, a block and a steal.

C.J. Schutt scored 11, while
Robert Romero added 10 with three assists.
Danny Hopkins led all with four assists.

Defensively,
James Thomas had a pair of blocks and eight points.
Tom Folsom led all with seven boards.

The Mountaineers bench scored forty points in the scrimmage. Western also scored 34 points in the paint and 14 points off of turnovers.Â
