CHADRON, Neb. - The Western State Colorado University Mountaineers played their second conference game of the season on Saturday. After being tied at half, Western came up short against Chadron State College, losing 73-57.
Western (1-5, 0-2 RMAC) played the Eagles neck and neck in the first half. CSC (3-3, 2-0 RMAC) and Western ended the first half tied at 28 points.
In the second half, the Eagles took control of the game and finished ahead of Western 73-57.

Mason Biddle (Sr., Riverside, California) led the way for the Mountaineers, scoring 19 points. Teammate
Alex Eddy (Jr., Phoenix, Arizona) was the other Mountaineer to score in double figures, adding 10 points.
CSC's Evan Brooks led all scorers with 20 points.
Western will have their season opener next Friday against New Mexico Highlands University at 7:30 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym.
