Ben Beauchamp

Ben Beauchamp is entering his third season on the Mountaineers' coaching staff under head coach Bradd Schafer.

The 2019-20 season saw Beauchamp help the team to a 14-14 record, including 11-11 in conference play. The 14 victories equals the most wins for the program since winning 18 games during the 1998-99 season. As a team, the Mountaineers finished third in the conference in 3-point percentage (39.4 percent) and second in 3-pointers made (272).

In 2018-19 following a decorated playing career at Western Colorado, Beauchamp played professional basketball season overseas before returning to become a part of the Mountaineer men's program.
 
Beauchamp – from Louisville, Colorado – played for the Mountaineers from 2015-18 and was a two-time All-RMAC performer, including making the All-RMAC First Team his senior season after leading the team in scoring (17.8), 3-pointers (68), assists (3.2), steals (25) and free throws made (125). Beauchamp was All-RMAC Second Team his junior campaign after averaging 18.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. Overall, Beauchamp made 82 starts as a Mountaineer and scored 1,334 points.

Beauchamp graduated in the spring of 2018 with a degree in exercise sport science and an emphasis in sport and fitness management.
