DeVriese joined the Mountaineer athletics staff in February 2026, bringing a diverse background in athletic communications and sports information. Prior to his current role, he served as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Adrian College from 2024 to 2026, where he oversaw 53 athletic programs. In that position, he was responsible for in-game statistics, post-game coverage, and comprehensive media content.
Before his time at Adrian College, DeVriese worked at Illinois State University as a graduate assistant, serving as the primary contact for the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field programs. In this role, he managed athletic communications, media relations, and game-day operations.
A graduate of Loras College with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Business Administration, DeVriese went on to earn his master’s degree from Illinois State University.
