Mackenzie serves the WCU Foundation as the Director of Development, with a focus on Mountaineer Athletics priorities. She joined the WCU Foundation team in 2021, following her graduation from Western in 2019 with a bachelor’s in business administration.
She believes that Western supporters, Mountaineer fans in particular, are unmatched in their passion for Western, the success of our students, and their journey at Western and beyond.
Through her work with scholarships and programmatic support, she feels privileged to be in a role at Western that helps connect that competitive spirit of our alumni and friends with philanthropic impact.
Originally from Fort Collins, Mackenzie fell in love with the Gunnison Valley community and wide-open spaces during her time as a student. Today, if she’s not on campus, at the rink, or at the local kombucha bar, check the backcountry trails—she’ll be the one on a horse.
