High School: Competed at Meeker High School in Colorado where he was a three-sport athlete: Wrestling, football and track. Was a two-time Colorado state championship finalist. Holds the Meeker High School all-time wins record, going 153-25 in his high school career. In the classroom, Kennedy was a member of the National Honor Society and the Future Farmers of America Treasure.
