2018-19 (Redshirted): Redshirted.

2017-18 (Freshman): As a true freshman Sandoval finished off his first year with the Mountaineers with an overall record of 18-16 and the second most pins on the team with 10 total.

High School: Was a four-time state placer and three-time Colorado State Champion at Fort Lupton High School…Finished sixth at Senior Nationals and was cited by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame…2017 Colorado 2A/3A Outstanding Wrestler of the Year.
 
Personal: Parents are Deann and Jody…Has four siblings, Matthew, Breann, Branon and Audriana.
