Taylor Summers begins his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Western Colorado University wrestling program in 2022. Summers also is the head coach of the Western Colorado Wrestling Club.
Summers comes to Western after spending one season as an assistant coach at his alma mater Chadron State College.
As a wrestler for the Eagles, Summers earned a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title in 2017 and qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2016. Summers was a team captain from 2014-17.
Academically, Summers earned Academic All-America honors his senior season and was on the Dean's List during the 2015-16 year.
Summers graduated from CSC in 2017 with a degree in exercise science.
