High School: Captain of the wrestling team at Lamar High School his senior season...As a junior, placed second at the Texas UIL District 12-6A Tournament...As a senior, placed sixth at the Texas UIL Region 3-6A, fourth at the Texas UIL District 12-6A, first at the Sam Houston Round Robin Tournament, second at the Spartan Hall of Fame Invitational, second at the Emery Double Entry Tournament, and finished with a 35-11 record with a team leading 24 falls and 42 near falls... Finished with a career record of 65-27 with 45 falls...Was also a volunteer at the Houston Humane Society...Parents are Charles and Dale Hammaker...Has one sister, Haley.
