2018-19: In her final season, Yarnell made history. Crowned the first national champion in program history, Yarnell also earned her 6th All-American honor. She won the 200 Y Free and earned All-American honors in the 100 Y Fly and 50 Y Free. Randi set the school record in the 100 Y Fly with time of 1.47.28. At Nationals, the senior swam 4 personal bests and placed top 5 in almost every event she swam. Her performance helped The Mountaineers claim their first national title. Randi led her team in swimming the fastest 50 Free (22.88), 100 Free (49.12), 200 Free (1.48.14), 50 Fly (25.39), 100 Fly (54.01) and 200 Fly (2.07.02). At the RMAC Championships, she was a 3x champion, winning the 100 Y Fly (54.68), 100 Y Free (49.12) and 200 Y Free (1.49.07). The senior also got 2nd in the 50 Y Free (22.88).

2017-18: Yarnell had a dominant year in the pool for Western. Selected as both the RMAC Swimmer of the Year and Swimmer of the Meet, Yarnell was a force in the conference before qualifying for the NCAA Championships in four events. At the 2018 NCAA Championship, she was just edged out in the final meters to finish as the runner-up in the 100 Free with a 49.54 clocking. At the NCAA Championships Yarnell made the final in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 100 Fly, and 200 Free. Across the season, Yarnell set four personal bests with the first coming at the A3 Performance Invite with a 1:48.80 altitude adjusted time. At the RMAC Championships, she set three personal bests and swam two NCAA A cuts while winning the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 Fly. Yarnell also set three individual school records (50 Free, 100 Free, 100 Fly) while swimming on two school record relays (200 Free and 400 Free). She is now the record holder in the 50 Free (22.88), 100 Free (49.20), 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Fly (53.86), 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay, and 400 Medley Relay.
2016-17: Named to the Preseason All-RMAC team....Dominated the 2017 RMAC Championships winning three individual events...Named the RMAC Swimmer of the Year and the RMAC Swimmer of the Meet at the RMAC Championship...Won the 50 yd Free and broke Western's School Record in 23.14...Won the 100 yd Free in 50.04...Won the 200 yd Free...2nd in the 100 yd Fly... and finished 5th in the 400 yd Medley Relay... Qualified for the NCAA DII Championships in four events (50 yd Free, 100 yd Free, 100 yd Fly, and 200 yd Free... Despite being sick, Yarnell finished 17th in the 50 yd Free
2015-16: Yarnell had a historic freshman campaign that helped put Western swimming and diving in the national rankings … Kicked things off by becoming the first Mountaineer to hit an NCAA ‘B’ Standard time on Oct. 31st … Powered through the duals to enter the conference meet and become the first-ever Mountaineer conference champion … Went on to win the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free at the conference meet … Was named the RMAC Freshman of the Year … Became the first Mountaineer to compete at the NCAA DII national championships … Placed seventh in the 200 free to become the first NCAA DII All-American for Western … Also was a second-team All-American in the 50 free with a 15
th place … Competed in the 100 free and 100 back as well at the national meet ... Named the RMAC Swimmer of the Week Nov. 5 and the CollegeSwimming.com RMAC Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 9
