Kelsey Oettinger begins her first year as Athletic Operations and Facilities Coordinator for Western Colorado University.
Kelsey coached as an assistant coach for the Western Colorado swim team from 2020-2021. Kelsey graduated from Western Colorado in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science emphasis on Sport Management and Business Management. Kelsey was also a member of the Western Colorado Women’s Varsity Swim team from 2013-2017. She was a two-time captain and multiple time RMAC point scorer for the Mountaineers. Also, during her time at Western she was SAAC president and a member of the Student Government Association.Â
Swimming has always been part of her life and she is excited to continue her passion for this sport here in Gunnison.
