Leonard is the final recruit from Los Alamos High School where she was a three-year starter. She was an All-State Honorable mention as a junior, and led her team to the state championship game as a senior. She was a four-time district champion. Also played for the New Mexico Rush Nero, in which she was a part of three state quarterfinals and was a state runner up in 2014.
