Josh Eberly returns to Western State Colorado University for his fourth season as a member of the coaching staff for the Mountaineer cross country. He was a three-time All-American and helped lead the Mountaineers to national championships from 2000 through 2002.
Eberly was the national runner-up in 2001 and the sixth-place runner in 2002 while finishing as the runner-up at the RMAC Championships three times. He was the national champion for the outdoor 10,000-meter run and the runner-up for the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meter runs. Eberly also remains ranked in Western State track and field records for the outdoor 10,000-meter and 5,000-meter runs and the indoor 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter runs.
Eberly currently competes for Brooks Running. He's been a member of four US national teams and ran in the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials.
