Assistant coach Lauren Bogle joined the Mountaineer program's staff in June 2024.
Bogle comes to the Western Slope following head coaching stops at John Wood (Ill.) Community College (2022-24) and at Lamar (Colo.) Community College (2021-2022). Her two-year stint leading John Wood was a return to the program after she had served as the Blazers’ assistant coach for two seasons (2019-21).
The 2023-24 campaign at John Wood was her most successful as the Blazers posted a 17-13 overall record and a 9-5 mark in Mid-West Athletic Conference action, competing with a roster of fewer than 10 players. Bogle coached Katey Flynn to first-team M-WAC and Freshman of the Year honors, with teammate Jada Dupree also earning a first-team honor.
Bogle was an NJCAA Women’s Basketball All-American while playing for Lake Land (Ill.) College, joining the Lakers’ 1,000-point club in two seasons. She would move on to play at the University of South Carolina Upstate where Bogle would earn the team’s Spartan Award and graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then played one season with Club Internacional in Peru.
