Gabie Doud enters her first season as a student assistant coach for the Western Colorado women's basketball program.
Doud completed her playing career at Western in 2019-20 - helping the Mountaineers reach their first NCAA Tournament in program history by going 20-7 overall. Doud was named All-RMAC Honorable Mention after averaging 9.3 points and 5.6 rebounds. Prior to Western, Doud played at Winona State where she made a NSIC All-Tournament Team and earned NSICÂ Player of the Week honors.
Doud is from Huxley, Iowa, and was a four-sport athlete (basketball, track and field, softball and volleyball). In basketball, she was named the All-Area Player of the Year twice and named all-conference three times.
