Western Colorado University Athletics

2018-19: Started 11 games and played in all 27 for the 2018-19 season. Averaged 28.1 minutes/game and shot 39.3% from behind the arc. She led the Mountaineers in offensive rebounds (37) and totaled 160 rebounds, good for 5.9 rebounds/game. The senior averaged 8.4 points per game (226 total) and had a game high of 25 points against her alma mater, Colorado Christian University.

2017-18: Her first season in a Mountaineer uniform, Sturms played in 18 games with 13 starts for Western. Sturms averaged 24.1 minutes per game as a consistent presence for the Mountaineers. Averaging 6.8 points per game, Sturms shot a remarkable 38% from 3-point on the season. She also averaged 4.7 rebounds per game as a multi-dimensional player for Western. Sturms scored in double-figures four times for Western including a season best 14 on 80% shooting against MSU-Denver.
