2011: Redshirted for the Mountaineers while competing unattached. Set the Freshman record at the W-Mountain run while finishing 2nd overall. Also competed strongly at the Pre-Regional Open Race.

Prep: Josh was a multiple time State Qualifer and 2010 CHSAA 3A State Champion in cross country. The following spring he was the State Runner Up in the 3A 3200m.

Personal: Josh is the son of Brenda Alloway and Patrick Canty. Josh enjoys studying the history of ocean liners, model ship building, road biking, hiking, and mountain biking as well as spending time with friends girlfriend and family.
