High School: Attended Mason City High School...Ran Cross Country and Track and Field, 800m, 1600m, and the 3200m...Wrestled all four years, along with playing baseball as a Freshman and Sophomore...Was all academic for four years in Cross Country and two years in track...I was a member of the National Honors Society. Also, I graduated with a 3.94 GPA.

Prior to Western: Attended North Iowa Area Community College...Placed 9th as a team at NJCAA Cross Country Nationals in 2016. Individually place 10th at NJCAA Track and Field Nationals in the 10K. Placed 18th as a team at NJCAA Cross Country Nationals in 2017. Also, I received the Scholar-Athlete Award...I graduated with an Associated of Science Degree with a 4.0 GPA. I was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. I received the Outstanding Student Achievement in Mathematics and Engineering Award. I was nominated to be part of the Pathway to Sucess. Also, I was inducted into the NIACC Hall of Fame. 

Why did you choose Western? I wanted to go somewhere I would be able to succeed both academically and athletically. I recognized Western had great coaching staff and professors, along with the amazing facilities. I knew I would be able to prosper and be guided in the right direction.
