Stacy Fuller

Stacy Fuller was tabbed the head cheer coach for Western Colorado University after re-introducing the program in 2019.

The Alabama native attended the University of Alabama where she studied Nursing and Physical Education, then went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of South Alabama. Following this, Fuller attended University of Central Florida to obtain her master's degree in Exercise Physiology.
 
At the University of Alabama, Fuller competed as a cheerleader earning two third-place finishes and one second-place finish at the UCA College Nationals.
 
Fuller's love of sports developed at a young age as both her parents were physical education teachers. She excelled in gymnastics at an early age and began training for the Olympics with the Karoly's in Houston, Texas. Due to injuries she returned home and began her involvement in numerous sports in high school, eventually finding her calling in cheerleading.
 
Throughout her life, Stacy has choreographed routines, coached at the collegiate level and judged various competitions.
 
In her time at the University of Central Florida, Fuller worked as a strength and conditioning coach along with coaching cheer. She coached the small co-ed squad to a third-place finish at nationals during their first season of competition along with coaching the varsity squad to a national championship title after defeating the University of Kentucky, breaking their 11 year winning streak.
 
Fuller has lived in Gunnison since 2016 owning and operating her own business, Ahimsa Wellness, along with teaching extended studies classes at Western in Ayurveda and Yoga during the 2017-18 academic year. She is also currently working with the Gunnison High School cheer team, choreographing their routines. During the 2021-22 season Fuller led her team to a third-place finish at USA Nationals.Â
