2024: Earned selection to USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Team and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Roll … Placed 191st at the NCAA DII championship meet and 57th at the NCAA DII South Central Regional … was Western's fourth-scoring runner at the RMAC championship meet, finishing in 38th place.
2023: Ran to a Career-best 6k time of 22:57.2 at the RMAC Championships ... Ran a 5k career-time of 18:25.2 at the Colorado Springs XC open ... Participated in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival and the Mountaineer Invite.
2022: Registered a 6K time of 25:36.3 at UC Colorado Springs XC Open and 19:43.4 in the 5K at Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede.
High School: Wood comes to Western Colorado University from Lewis-Palmer High School where she ran cross country and track all four years on varsity. In 2019, she was a state qualifier for the Colorado Cross Country State Championships, along with earning Academic All-State First Team multiple times throughout high school. Haley is the daughter of Bryan and Missy Wood, and sibling of Ashley. One of the reasons she chose Western Colorado was to continue her hobbies of skiing, hiking, camping, riding four-wheelers, and playing Spikeball.
