2019-20 (Junior): Competed in four events at the RMAC Championships, setting two season bests and a personal best in the 100 Y Fly.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Garcia competed in four events at the 2019 RMAC Championships, finishing 20th in the 1650 Y Free (11.47.53) for a personal best. The sophomore was also one of four teammates to receive the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll award. Primarily a backstroke/fly swimmer, she swam the following:
200 Y Back (2.19.41) (SB)
200 Y Free (2.13.21) (PB)
100 Y Back (1.07.06) (SB).
2017-18 (Freshman):Â In her first RMAC Championships, Garcia contested five events for Western, swimming season bests in three. Garcia recorded bests in the 100 Fly (1:08.65), 100 Back (1:04.60), and 200 Back (2:19.36). She also swam a personal best in the 200 IM (2:24.44) at the A3 Performance Invite.
High School: Went to Millikan High School where she was a 4 year varsity record holder and 2x CIF Division II Qualifier in 100 yard Backstroke... Achieved top merit program with a 3.8 GPA. All-League in the 100 yard Backstroke...As a club swimmer qualified for the Swim Meet of Champions and the Grand Challenge.. 100 Back - 1:02.22, 200 Back - 2:13.21
Personal: From Long Beach California. Daughter of Nicole Olsen-Garcia and Sergio Garcia, and sister to Isabella Garcia.
Why Western? Chose Western because of the amazing swim team and pre-medicine major.Â
