PUEBLO, Colo. Western Colorado soccer begins the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference portion of its schedule Friday night with a contest at Colorado State University Pueblo, then finishes the weekend with a league contest Sunday at 13th-ranked UC Colorado Springs.
WESTERN COLORADO HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2025 Stats
- The Mountaineers (0-7) will be looking for their first win of the season at CSU Pueblo.
- Western is nearly equal with its opponents in number of shots per game, averaging 13.4 to its opponents' 14.7. A factor from those figures that contributes to the team's record, though, is the slightly larger disparity in shots on goal percentage -- .468 to .524.
- Natsuki Murakami leads the team in scoring with three of the team's six goals. Caitlin Mazurek, Madilyn Reser and Cianna Thomas have each scored one marker apiece.

- The ThunderWolves have a 1-3-2 record heading into Friday's RMAC opener against the visiting Mountaineers, the lone victory coming at Sul Ross State, 2-0.
- Both of Pueblo's draws have been scoreless outings.
- The 'Wolves have scored a total of three goals, one each by Abby Menk, Daytlynn Garland, and Kenna Snyder. Menk's first-goal in the Sul Ross game proved to be the eventual game-winner.
- The majority of time in goal has been by Alva Hellenius. In 384 minutes she's made 18 saves and posts a 2.11 goals-against average and a .667 save percentage.
- Last season's game against host Western ended in a 1-1 draw.
No. 13 UC COLORADO SPRINGS HEADING INTO THE GAME | 2025 Stats
- The ranked Mountain Lions (4-1-1) play Fort Lewis on Friday to open their RMAC slate before welcoming Western on Sunday afternoon.
- UCCS' lone loss came at No. 7 Dallas Baptist, a 2-1 defeat in which the Patriots scored the game winner in the 87th minute.
- Included in the Mountain Lions' winning record is a 2-0 win on Sept. 16 at Division I Air Force.
- Three players have combined to score 11 of the team's 15 goals. Brooke Pavlich has two game-winners among her four goals, while Abby Stassi (4G) and Luka Johnson (3G) each have one game-winning marker.
- Nylah Mirshafiei has taken every minute in goal for UCCS. She's made 21 saves with a .750 save percentage and a 1.17 goals-against average.
