Juelfs Named 2024-25 First-Team All-Academic RMAC, Nine Earn Honor Roll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Men's Basketball All-Academic First team and honor roll Wednesday morning and Kade Juelfs earned first-team all-academic honors and nine other Mountaineers earned honor roll recognition. 

In the classroom, Julefs holds a 3.82 grade-point average as a Business Administration major. On the court, He helped the Mountaineers to an 8-19 overall record while going 6-14 in conference play. The senior led the Mountaineers in scoring with 12.5 points per game with 40.8-percent shooting from the field and a 40-clip from 3-point range in 27 games this season. Juelfs scored a season-high 31 points against N.M. Highlands (Nov. 11) going 9-for-15 from the field, 8-for-13 from beyond the arc and 5-for-6 from the free throw line.  

Defensively, Juelfs registered 2.3 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers, while also collecting 25 total steals and 2 blocks this season. Throughout RMAC play, Juelfs registered 2.6 rebounds per game and 20 steals. Juelfs not only registered season-high's offensively but hit season-highs on defense as well with seven rebounds against South Dakota Mines (Feb. 22) and three steals against Chadron State (Feb. 20).

Juelfs hit a huge milestone, in the contest against Colorado Christian (Feb. 1), scoring his 1,000-career point. He ends his career with a total of 1,095 points.
