Mountaineers Ready for Regionals

GUNNISON, COLO.,    The Western Colorado men's, and women's cross-country teams travel to Pueblo, Colo., to compete in the NCAA DII South-Central Regional Championship
  • The Western men enter the meet led by junior Branden Davis, who was the top finisher for the Mountaineers at the RMAC Championships, placing sixth overall with a time of 24:31.82 to earn All-RMAC First Team honors.
  • Right behind Scott was Oliver Diaz, who finished 10th with a time of 24:34.41 to earn All-RMAC First Team honors.
  • Jan Thewes and Tyler Nord also earned All-RMAC First Team honors, finishing 12th and 14th, respectively.
  • Allison Beasley led the Mountaineers with a fifth-place finish overall, clocking a time of 20:55.04 to earn All-RMAC First Team honors.
  • Peyton Weiss also earned All-RMAC First Team recognition with an 11th-place finish in 21:24.81.
  • Jayda Nix and Lauren Willson secured All-RMAC Second Team honors with their 23rd- and 24th-place finishes, respectively.
  • The women's 6-kilometers starts at 10am and the men's 8-kilometers begins at 11:15am.
