SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. Western Colorado did everything they could to extend their winning streak to three games. But, things just didn't go their way leading to them losing 0-3 to the Westminster Griffins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It didn't take long for a goal to be a scored. Unfortunately, that goal would come from Westminster who scored on a header 18:09 into the game. The Griffins had control for the majority of the first half recording nine shots, three being on goal.
- The Mountaineers were able to record one shot, which was on goal, at the 39:21 mark as Sarah Connolly tapped a shot towards the net, that was saved by Westminster's goal keeper.
- Similar to the first half, the Griffin's scored another goal early into the second half – 49:48 mark to be exact – extending their lead to 2-0. Four minutes later, Westminster's lead ballooned to 3-0.
- Western Colorado continued to fight despite the outcome already being decided – getting two shots off both by Mary Wilson at the 88:37 and 89:46 mark. However, both shots were unable to find the net.
PITCH NOTES
- Western had five shots in the game, with three being on goal. While the Griffin's had 17 shots in the game, eight being on goal.
- Kylee Smith and Karly Morkunas also had shots on goal in the game, coming at the 70:54 and 69:48 mark of the game.
