GUNNISON, Colo. --- Western Colorado Athletics prepares for the fall 2021 season with scrimmages, a cross country time trial and a football mock game this Saturday.
 
Starting Saturday morning, the cross country team will run their annual team time trial at Tomichi Village loop. The women's team will go at 9 a.m. with the men's team starting after the conclusion of the women. Fans are welcome to come support.
 
Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the football team will do an intrasquad mock game at Mountaineer Bowl prior to their home season opener on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. Fans are welcome to come support.
 
Facing off against Colorado Mesa in a scrimmage, will be the Mountaineer volleyball team on Saturday at 11 a.m. Fans are welcome, but must wear a face covering at all times inside of Paul Wright Gym.
 
The women's soccer team will be competing on the road as they scrimmage CSU Pueblo at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
