GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team takes on CSU-Pueblo on Friday and New Mexico Highlands on Sunday as the Mountaineers continue RMAC play in Grand Junction.
 
THE MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The Mountaineers are coming off a close 1-0 loss at Colorado Mesa on Sunday in a contest where the only goal came on a loose ball in the box in the 11th minute as the WCU back line battled tough and Kaeyla Noble collected seven saves.

On the season, Missa Webb leads the Mountaineers with two goals while Andrea Grillo and Casey Ober have a goal apiece. Noble leads the RMAC in saves per game at 7.33 and is second in overall saves with 66.

CSU-PUEBLO HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The ThunderWolves enter Friday's contest with WCU on a three-match winning streak and having gone unbeaten in their last four. CSU-Pueblo won both games last weekend at home, beating Black Hills State 3-0 on Friday and Regis 2-1 in overtime on Sunday. Summer Hatch earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors Tuesday after scoring a pair of goals - including the game-winning goal against Regis.

Madison Jepperson has paced the ThunderWolves as she has four goals and two assists this season while Justine Martinez has three goals and an assists. Cara Siegel leads the team with three assists (to go along with one goal) while Hatch and Jordin Schaller have two goals apiece. At keeper, Rylie Martin has played all but 16 minutes for CSU-Pueblo as she owns a 1.26 goals against average with a 0.778 save percentage (both 10th in the RMAC).

NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019 SEASON STATS
The Cowgirls will be searching for their first win heading into this weekend after dropping both games at home last weekend - falling to Regis 4-0 on Friday and to Black Hills State 3-2 on Sunday. In the loss on Sunday to the Yellow Jackets, the Cowgirls traded goals with BHSU in a high-scoring first half with NMHU getting both goals from Janis Martinez (assists from Monique Nevarez and Cheyenne Delgado) to enter the break tied 2-2. But the Yellow Jackets scored a goal in the 63rd minute on a penalty kick to come away with the win.

Martinez has scored all three of the Cowgirls' goals this season. At keeper, Katherine Scott (418 minutes - 4.94 GAA) and Karina Vega (301 minutes - 5.38 GAA) have shared time for NMHU.
