GUNNISON, Colo. – Western State Colorado University wrestling will host the Tracy Borah Duals for the 28
th time this Saturday in Gunnison. The Mountaineers and seven other teams will compete at the Borah Duals beginning at 9 a.m. in the Mountaineer Field House.

The annual wrestling event will feature 14 duals split between four mats. The day is broken down into four rounds; 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A complete schedule can be found on the

Making the trip to Gunnison on Saturday will be Adams State University, the Air Force Academy, Colorado Mesa University, the University of Findlay, Newberry College, New Mexico Highlands University and Simon Fraser University.

Four of the eight teams competing are currently ranked in the top-25 of Division II. Western is currently in the 17
th spot, while Simon Fraser is 11
th, Newberry is 14
th and Findlay is 16
th.

Individually, 13 ranked wrestlers will be competing. The 165-pound weight class will feature three ranked wresters, including the top ranked wrestler, Tyler McLean from Simon Fraser. Also ranked at 165 pounds is Alonzo Turner of Findlay, ranked sixth, and Western's

 The Mountaineers will have duals in all four rounds. The first against Air Force, the second against Findlay, the third against Newberry and the last against Simon Fraser.

It will be the first time since the 2010-11 season that Western has wrestled either Findlay or Newberry in a dual. The Mountaineers are 3-0 against Findlay, but lost to Newberry in the lone dual meeting.

Western is 19-30-1 all-time against the AFA and have wrestled the Falcons in a dual meet for 14 consecutive seasons. The Mountaineers are 5-1 all-time against Simon Fraser.

At the Tracy Borah Duals, Western holds a record of 30-6 in duals.

In addition to the Tracy Borah Duals, Gunnison High School will also be running a wrestling tournament next to the four college mats in the Mountaineer Field House.

Admission to the duals is $10 for the entire day. Students and senior citizens can enter for $5, while MAA Members with a card, Western students, Gunnison Watershed School District students and children under five are free of charge.

Fans attending the duals must enter the Mountaineer Field House through the northeast entrance, which is connected through the main Paul Wright Gym entrance. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own chairs, although seating will be provided as well.

On Friday, a day before the Tracy Borah Duals, Western wrestling will be hosting a small open. The
Western Colorado Open will be primarily comprised of unattached wrestlers not competing in the duals on Saturday.

The
Western Colorado Open begins at 2 p.m. on Friday and will be free and open to the public.
