GUNNISON, Colo. – Western State Colorado University women's soccer fell to Metro State University Denver on Friday in Gunnison by a score of 2-1.

After falling behind to MSU Denver (8-6, 7-3 RMAC) 1-0 after a goal by Reigna Banks in the 15th minute, Western (4-7-2, 3-5-1 RMAC) went on the attack.

The Mountaineers found an equalizer four minutes later. Jessica Kresl took a through pass, went past a defender and scored her third goal of the year in the 19th minute.
