GUNNISON, Colo. – Four more duals await the Western State Colorado University wrestlers on Saturday. The Mountaineers will wrestle all four at the University of Nebraska Kearney Midwest Duals in Kearney, Nebraska.
 
Western will face the University of Central Oklahoma, Fort Hays State University, the University of Mary and Newman University. Three of Western's opponents are currently nationally ranked – UCO is eighth, FHSU is 18^th and Newman is 23^rd.
 
The duals will be held in the Health and Sports Center as well as the Cushing Coliseum. A total of 74 college (NCAA Division II, NAIA and JUCO), high school and youth teams, representing 13 different U.S. states, will compete on 18 different mats.
 
Wrestling begins at 8 a.m. (MT) with the first dual against UCO. The second dual is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. (MT) against FHSU. The third dual against Mary will follow at 11 a.m. (MT) and the final dual of the day against Newman starts at 12:30 p.m. (MT).
 
The biggest matches of the duals could come at the lightest weight. Western's Ronald Wardleigh, ranked fifth at 125 pounds, may face third ranked Josh Lindsey of Central Oklahoma and fourth ranked Dustin Reed of Newman. All three wrestlers are in the same region and each match could have a large impact on seeding for the NCAA Region IV Championships at the end of February. Lindsey defeated Reed head-to-head earlier this season.
 
Cost of admission, per day, is $10.00 (adults) and $8.00 (seniors/youths). Kids 10 and under are free with senior pricing beginning at age 55. Those who have the UNK All-Sports pass or a Nebraska Coaches Association pass will also gain admittance; the passes must be shown to get in.
 
Gates open each day at around 7:00 a.m. (MT) (after skin checks and weigh-ins are completed).
