GUNNISON, Colo. – Western State Colorado University women's soccer travels to face Adams State University on Friday, before returning home to host Fort Lewis College on Sunday.
 
Western (3-4-1, 1-2 RMAC) will face ASU (5-3, 2-2 RMAC) for the seventh time in program history at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mountaineers have won the past three meetings and won last year's game, 2-1, in Alamosa.
 
Against FLC (3-4-1, 2-2 RMAC), the Mountaineers have a record of 1-2-2. Western will host the Skyhawks at 1 p.m. on Gateway Field, where the Mountaineers' record against FLC stands at 1-1-1.
 
Four Mountaineers are tied for the team lead in goals scored. Andrea Grillo, Francesca Rand, Paige Massey and Kresl have each scored two goals this season.
 
Lacey Daniel leads the Grizzlies in goals scored with three. This ranks tied for seventh in the RMAC.
 
As a team, ASU has the third best scoring average in the conference at 1.625 goals per game.
 
FLC's leading scorer, Shayla Malecki, has four goals scored on the season, which ranks tied for third best in the RMAC.
 
The Skyhawks, as a team, have scored seven goals this season. However, FLC has also allowed seven goals, resulting in a 0.0 goal differential.
 
The Grizzlies and Skyhawks each have six points in conference, while the Mountaineers have accrued three. All three teams enter the weekend having lost two matches the week before.
 
FLC will face UC-Colorado on Friday in Colorado Springs, Colorado before traveling to Gunnison on Sunday. The Skyhawks are 1-4-1 in road matches this season.
