Last weekend, Pendergraft led the Mountaineers past the second ranked team in the Nation and the only team that was still undefeated in conference, Fort Lewis Skyhawks 69-61.
Pendergraft led all scorers with a game high 22 points and 12 rebounds. She was nearly perfect from the free throw line, making six of seven in the final minutes.
The night before, she had six points and five rebounds, as Western fell to arch-rival Adams State 53-55.
With the victory over Fort Lewis, the Mountaineers have kept their playoff hopes alive.
Wester hits the road this weekend for the final two games of the 2008-09 regular season. The Mountaineers (13-12 overall and 9-8 in RMAC play) travel to CSU-Pueblo (17-8 overall, 11-6 RMAC) on Friday night and N.M. Highlands (3-22 overall, 1-16 RMAC) on Saturday night.
