Tiger Demers, a 1964 graduate of Western, is a two-time NCAA National Ski Champion. Demers claimed the Cross Country National Championship in both 1963 and 1964. Demers was also a part of two of the top ski teams in WSC history. The 1963 team finished third and the 1964 team finished fourth. Demers holds two of Western’s nine Individual National Championships in skiing. Demers also was a member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic team and was an alternate member of the 1960 team. Demers also finished ninth in the 15K in 1962.
