Laurie Nickolaus Brooks is the second all-time leading scorer in the history of women's basketball and holds the school record for assists (400) and steals (140) in a career. She was a four-year captain and led the team to a 22-7 record, RMAC and NAIA District Championship. She was named Player of the Week in the RMAC or NAIA nine different times. Currently she is the head girls' basketball coach at Montrose High School.
