Kim Pennapacker, now Callis, was a seven-time All-American in swimming, qualifying for and racing in the NAIA national meets in 1981, 1982 and 1983. Named an Academic All-American in 1983, Callis was also a three-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champion, sweeping the 200-, 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle events at the 1982 RMAC meet. Following her conference meet and national meet performances in 1982, she was named the national Miller Sports Award Player of the Week in March of that year. Callis graduated from the program owning the 500 and 1,650 freestyle school records.
