Glen Younger

Younger, now a resident of Grand Junction, wrestled for the Mountaineers from 1965-68. During that stretch, Younger compiled a 23-8-1 career record. The Craig, Colo., native was a fourth-place finisher at the NCAA Division II championships as a sophomore, a runner-up as a junior and a national champion as a senior. He claimed two RMAC championships and one Mountain Intercollegiate Wrestling Association crown. Younger received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Western State in 1968 and 1971 respectively. Younger is also a member of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Hall of Fame.
