Lifetime Athletic Achievement Award Winner

Frank Bauer spent four years as a football player at Western from 1966-70 and graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Bauer returned to Western in 1972 and served as defensive line coach while he received his Masters Degree. After that, Bauer continued his coaching career at the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif. After his coaching career ended, Bauer formed Sun West Sports & Associates - an athletic agency. SWS has now turned into one of the most respected agencies in the National Football League. At one time SWS represented 47 professional football players, three NFL head coaches and seven NFL assistant coaches. The NFL Players Association and Sports Illustrated ranked Bauer fifth in their published list of the NFL’s Top 10 agents.
