GUNNISON, Colo. - Western State Colorado University men's basketball will be hosting a gathering of fans and alumni on Sept. 24 in Gunnison, Colorado.  The third annual gathering will take place at Mountaineer Athletic Association Corporate Partner Blackstock Bistro starting at 11 a.m. before the Mountaineer football game at 1 p.m. in Mountaineer Bowl.
 
Fans, alumni and families of all ages are welcome to this kickoff event.  The gathering will be a great opportunity for fans and alumni to meet the men's basketball Head Coach, Bradd Schafer (Western '01) his staff and learn about the 2016-17 Mountaineers.
 
Appetizers will be provided and fans are invited to bring their kids to the family friendly gathering.
